Geneva Helen (Crumpton) Musgrove

Geneva Musgrove was born November 29, 1919 to John and Doshie Crumpton in Newport, Arkansas.  She was the eleventh of fourteen children who all preceded her in death.   For many years she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Charles Randolph of Upland, CA.  She received her formal education in Arkansas.

After moving to California, she met and married the love of your life, Herbert Musgrove Sr, on April 3, 1948.  To this union a son and daughter was born, Herbert (Muriel) Musgrove Jr of Roanoke, Texas and Beverly (Charles) Randolph of Upland, CA.

Geneva professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age in Newport, Arkansas.  Until her health declined, she regularly attended First Church of God in Inglewood, CA.  She participated in various church activities including the Senior Club.

Geneva loved spending time gardening, reading, and most of all spending time with her family.  She leaves to cherish her precious memory, son and daughter-in-law Herbert and Muriel Musgrove Jr., daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Charles Randolph, six grandchildren, Marcus (LaVonne) Shields, Russell (Eboni) Shields, Michael Randolph, Jennifer Musgrove, Jonathan (Rebecca) Musgrove, Javonna (Terry) Lake and 13 great-grandchildren. Shaun Busby, Marcus J and Justin Shields, Niani, Amara, Mzuri, and Jalil Shields, Michael Randolph, Julia, Ethan and Joshua Musgrove, Jocelyn and Levi Lake, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law along with many close friends that loved and adored her.
