Theodore Davis

Theodore Davis was born on June 24, 1949, to loving parents, Henry and Ida Davis, in the family home in Los Angeles, CA. The 5th child in the family of six siblings, he grew up in the Los Angeles area, attending Carver Elementary, Willowbrook Middle School, and Centennial High School, Theodore was a talented artist, and excelled at baseball and football. He was also a member of the Southern Area Boys Club, a group of his peers that coordinated local social events and community service projects.

After graduating high school in 1967, Theodore worked at the Douglas Aircraft Company, and married June Marie Lee in 1969. Theodore continued to work around the Los Angeles area, managing a Church's Chicken restaurant with his brother, Joe, and also working for the Los Angeles County Road Maintenance Department for ten years.

He sadly passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Theodore was proceeded in passing by his brother Henry O. Davis, and will be missed by siblings, Julius, Joe, Eddie, and Shirley. He will be missed by his loving children, Michael, Lisa, Henry, Frances, and daughter-in-law, Alicia. He will also be greatly missed by his eight grandchildren, Michael, Jovi, Jonathan, Keyon, Kasharie, Kavon, Korey, Wakea, and the rest of his family and friends.
