Obituary

Daveon Levell Taylor was born February 7, 1983 to Terry Lee and the late Perry Taylor in Los Angeles, California. He was affectionately known as “Terry”, a name he borrowed in honor of his mother for entertainment business purposes. Daveon was one out of eleven children born of his parents: six sisters: Natasha, SaTari, Joeisha, Keisha, Aquista and Lementhia; five brothers: Jermaine, De’Jur, Marlon, Stanley and Antonio. Daveon accepted Christ at an early age and baptized in Evelyn Louisiana at Summer Hill Baptist Church. Daveon attended 93rd Street Elementary, Samuel Gompers Middle School and both Locke and Washington High School. He spent his childhood growing up in South Central Los Angeles with his mother, Grandmother Ruthie Lee and Aunt Tamara Renee Lee who played major roles in his upbringing.

Daveon was blessed with a beautiful daughter an only child Jaylonnie Jade Taylor whom he loved and adored. Although he was young and unprepared, he rose to the occasion of fatherhood and built a wonderful bond with his daughter. A little later on in life he was blessed again with the meeting of his wife Lola Taylor. Together they lived, loved and met many goals and accomplishments. Daveon loved, cherished and respected his wife and held her to the highest regard. Daveon loved the entertainment industry and business in general. Although he was a man of many talents, he was a comedian at heart and that is where his love for the entertainment industry began. He started doing promotions and comedy shows all over Los Angeles. He owned a business previously known as iNtense Entertainment iNc., where it lead him to meeting and working with some notable artists. He also work at a well-known company, Snap On Tool company.

In the afternoon hours of Wednesday, November 18, 2020, Daveon’s journey here on earth was completed.
