Heriberto Varela

Heriberto "Canon" Varela was born on August 7, 1941 in Villa de Cos, Zacatecas State and was raised in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua. He passed away on February 18, 2021. He was born from the marriage of Pablo Varela Miranda and Catalina Gonzalez Gonzalez. They had 9 children together 3 men and 6 women. Our father married Delfina Ordonez on February 14, 1969. They were married for 52 years on February 14, 2021. They had 4 children together, Catalina, Vivian, Heriberto Jr and Lorenzo. He also has two older daughters in Ciudad Juarez Susana and Lily and an older son Julio in El Paso, Texas. He had 7 children, 14 grandchildren, and 18 vis-grandchildren. As a young man he liked to play baseball and when he was older he liked to play billiards. He has played with various baseball teams such as the Pirates, Juarez and various other teams that I do not remember. He played every Saturday until he couldn't take it anymore, but he also went to the park to watch the games and spend time with his friends. Thank you for being our father and for teaching us how to live in this world and we are going to miss you a lot, dad. God bless you Father, Mother and Brother who are already together!
