Regi attended 93rd Street Elementary, Bret Harte Junior High, and Fairfax High School.

Regi love of fashion designing began at an early age and upon graduation from high school Regi attended Trade Technical College to pursue a life long goal and dream of being a Fashion Designer. In the fashion industry he was known as Regi' D Lee. He worked with notable designers such as Kimora Simmons' Comfort Zone and Baby Phat Clothing Lines. Regi' designed President Obama's sister dress for his inauguration and one of Toni Braxton's dresses for the Grammy Awards. He went on to design for many other celebrities and entertainers.
