Serita Ann Wallace, the only daughter of the Late Joseph Wallace and Eddye Mae (Handie) Wallace, was born on January 17th, 1960 in Inglewood, California. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized by her grandfather, the Reverend Edgar Douglas Handie, Sr. in Eudora, Arkansas. She attended public schools in the Inglewood School District and was a proud graduate of Morningside High School Class of 1977 and she also attended El Camino College.
Serita was full of life, personality, and love. On her best, and even worse days, you couldn't tell her anything; because she always knew she had it going on. She was a character and enjoyed making others laugh. Despite life's ups and downs, she was able to keep a smile on her face and on the faces of those around her. She cared for others and if she was able to lend a helping hand, she would.
Serita met Gartell Clements in 1977 and one son, Martell D'Angelo Clements, was born. Serita later met Dennis Demman in 1987 and two sons were born, Dennis Coy Denman, Jr. and Donte Vondell Demman. She quietly departed this life on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her three children; her adorable grandchildren: Marshawn Clements, Sharyah Clements, Shamar Clements, Martell Clements, Jr., Cord'e Clements and Lyrik Denman; she was loved by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, collectively known as the Handie Nation.
